Niki first became acquainted with Polynesian dances in a fusion workshop in 2009, but could not calm down and had to learn the original roots of the dance.
Back then, belly dancing was a great love, but the simple beauty of the Polynesian world and its relationship with nature showed her a new kind of dance quality.
Although he has not yet reached the islands in person, he has managed to reach a number of great teachers who have visited Europe and are still learning from them to this day.
Polynesian dances first taught us that it is not enough just to know the steps, to follow the rhythm, to learn the movements, to experience our feelings, but when we dance we can connect with past and present at the same time, we can belong to a community without losing ourselves.
